Money Lines
Money lines do not have a spread or handicap, and require the chosen team to win the game outright. The favoured team pays lower odds than does the underdog, thus, it acts mainly as an enticement to take the underdog for a better payout.
Over/Under
For every soccer game, bookmakers set a total number of goals, and bettors can bet on whether the number of goals scored between the two clubs will go over or under the set total.
Point Spread
An alternative to the three-way betting offered on the money line is betting a game with the point spread. Most soccer games offer a point spread bet with the favorite at -0.5 and the underdog at +0.5. This gives underdog bettors a chance to eliminate the draw from the odds.
Parlay
A parlay involves multiple bets that rewards successful bettors with a greater payout only if all bets in the parlay win. A parlay is at least two bets, but can be as many as the bookmaker will allow.
Proposition bets
Very specific outcome of a match not related to the final score, usually of a statistical nature. Examples number of corners, free kicks, fouls, and so on.
Outright
Predict the Championship Winner of a tournament, top goalscorer, top assist and so on.
